Gold Hoop Earrings

Gold hoop earrings have been a staple of women’s fashion for decades. They tend to come and go, get larger or smaller, but this is one of the classic, timeless pieces of jewelry that most any jeweler carries and sells regularly. Gold hoop earrings come in all sizes, all styles, and are made with a variety of gold and stones embedded in them. They look good on women of all ages, from all different areas of the world and wearing any and all kinds of fashion.

Gold earrings have modern day ties, yet began many years ago as gold became more readily available. Women in modern times tend to have pierced ears, so most gold hoop earrings are for those women who have pierced ears. There are some that clip on or are magnetized for wearers who do not have pierced ears, but they tend to be more difficult to come by. All shapes, styles and sizes are commonly found today whereas decades ago many were simple, smooth hoops.

The classic style gold hoop earring is often a smooth, simple circular shape in a small or large size, thick or thin depending on how they are stylized. More elaborate designs belong to contemporary times, as designers have sought ways to individualize the standard gold hoop earring. Some gold hoop earrings are a complicated tangle of several circles, are tiny with ornate designs, or feature multi-colored gold to create swirls and designs all over the hoop itself. It is even possible to find gold hoop earrings hosting precious or semi-precious gemstones as a part of the body of the earrings.

Should Men Wear Toe Rings?

Display of a toe ring provides some men with the ability to stand out in a group. That would certainly be the case in a group of surfers. Surfing fans at a competition by the shore should expect to see at least a few ring decorated toes. In fact, any location by the beach would be an ideal spot to study the frequency with which certain men wear toe rings. An average sized man wearing just sandals and a pair of swim shorts can not attract much attention, unless he can embellish his simple outfit by wearing a toe ring.
Mens Toe Rings
Such a man usually chooses to place a wide band on the toe next to his big toe. He might even wear more than one band on a single toe. In shops that sell foot jewelry, men are most apt to purchase a band in size 6, 7 or 8. A man with larger feet could well have such big muscles that his physique allows him to impress the ladies; he does not feel it necessary to wear a band on his toe.

Sometimes, when a man does decide to buy a toe ring, then he must keep a few things in mind. The first concerns the shape of his toes. Does he have peanut shaped toe? If so, then he needs to purchase one of the adjustable or coil style toe rings. Does he plan to wear the ring in a swimming pool? If so, then he should not expect that band to remain unscratched. Even the best bands can get scratched, when they get dragged along the rough surface found at the bottom of most pools.

Swarovski Crystal Anklets - Valentine's Day Gift Ideas

Crystal anklets have joined the anklet trend as one of the newest additions. In recent years a cheaper alternative to jeweled gemstone anklets have been sought by consumers; most of the time crystal anklets offer the same brilliance but at a cheaper price. More ornate styles can rival that of gold and gemstone anklets, such as those embedded with Swarovski crystals.
Swarovski Crystal Anklets
Crystal anklets tend to be set in silver or even with gold, but can sometimes be found made from cheaper metals. The materials used, dictate the pricing of a crystal anklet, and sometimes the maker can be one whose name and reputation add to the cost. Swarovski is one of the best known, and most expensive, makers in making crystal jewelry, including crystal anklets. Swarovski tends to be more elaborate with its designs, incorporating patterns, multiple colors, and even figural pieces as charms. Swarovski crystals are cut so brilliantly that they can easily pass for real gemstones.

Less known makers or less elaborate designs can make a crystal anklet cheaper in price. These tend to also be not as brilliant or dazzling, but still are comparable to gemstones and semi precious stones in appearance.
